Yousef Ahmad

Qatari Artist Yousef Ahmad is a leading figure of Qatar's cultural development. His works are owned by the most renowned international museums, including the Metropolitan and the British Museum, as well as displayed by prestigious galleries, auction houses, and international art companies throughout the world. He represents his country Qatar at international biennials, exhibitions and events. His use of local natural materials and colours in his artworks symbolises the interconnectivity of all living things. This represents the ways in which we as human beings are connected to the natural world while slowing down and cultivate a sense of  introspective, balance and harmony.
